RE/MAX Gold Coast Realtors was opened in Ventura County by Glenn Sipes and Fred Evans in 1990.  In hindsight there could have been no worse time to open a brand new office as the real estate market had just peaked in California and Ventura County was just starting a several year decline.  RE/MAX Gold Coast Realtors thrived and grew, despite the less than ideal timing, due to the commitment of Glenn and Fred and the strength of the RE/MAX brand.
